Beckenham High Street · A Poached café
JUNTO.
Speciality coffee & proper New York bagels.
A neighbourhood spot from the team behind Poached. Hand-rolled bagels, beans we trust, and a room you will want to sit in for an hour.

Bagels, properly
New York bagels.
South-East London room.
We boil and bake our bagels through the day — sesame, poppy, everything, plain — and stack them with the kind of fillings you'd queue for in the Lower East Side. Pastrami with pickle and mustard. Smoked salmon with cream cheese, capers, red onion and chives. A simple cream-cheese-and-tomato when you need something quieter.

Our Story
Brunch came first.
Then Junto found its name.
Poached opened on Beckenham High Street in 2017 with a simple plan: do brunch properly. Plates cooked in our kitchen, a flat white that holds its head, a room you would actually want to spend an hour in.
Years later, the Beckenham site grew into something with its own voice — chunkier, friendlier, leaning into speciality coffee and proper New York bagels. We gave it a name to match: JUNTO — Spanish for together.
Same parent — Poached — same standards, same hands behind the bar. Just a bolder room. Our original sister site keeps the Poached name in Bromley.

What our regulars say.
Almond croissants worth crossing a borough for. Friendly bar, four small tables, and a flat white I would queue for.

The kind of espresso that makes you put your phone down for a minute. Whoever is on the machine knows exactly what they are doing.

Quietly stylish. Pet friendly, properly looked after. I work in this trade — I notice the details. They have got the details right.
